DOYLESTOWN, PA — Healthcom Media, publisher of American Nurse Journal, the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Nurses Association and Women’s Healthcare, the official journal of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, announce the hiring of Rachel Laird as sales manager.
Ms. Laird comes to HealthCom Media bringing years of experience in sales and marketing and is certified in social media, email marketing, public relations, effective communications, and program/project development.
Ms. Laird is a creative, energetic, and experienced sales leader who’s proven her ability to manage key account relationships and large-scale projects. She’s highly skilled at managing product lines, developing sales forecasts, and launching new products to a variety of consumer and business-to-business markets. She also has experience in social media content and development.

She has served in various nursing leadership roles, including a member of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Nursing Steering Committee; the board of directors for the National Patient Safety Foundation; the Nursing Advisory Council of The Joint Commission; and many others. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a member of the Academy’s Nursing Informatics and Technology Expert Panel.
